ADHD therapy
No single treatment is the answer for every child. Behavior therapy is a set of specific interventions that have a goal of modifying the social and physical environment to improve behavior. Evidences that behavior therapy is effective are poor, almost all studies show that stimulant medication is much more effective, but behavior therapy is not without supporting data. Few high quality studies of the treatment exist.
Behavior therapy is alternative therapy for patients who do not respond to stimulant medications or don't want to take the drugs. Many patients have also combinations of medications and some kind of behavior therapy.
Many research shows that behavior therapy is very good for children with e.g poor family relationship, or lot of agression and oppositions in family. ADHD is chronique disorder that is unique because it might be treated with ecutational therapy.
